Attention Seniors and Parents, Senior pictures are due by November 1st. You can email them to yearbook@isd108.org or bring them into the library. If you do not plan to have Senior pictures taken the Yearbook Staff can take a picture that can be published in the yearbook. Lifetouch will be here this Friday, September 17th. Seniors should still have their pictures taken for Student IDs. You can also put your child’s baby picture with a short message in the yearbook. If you decide to do that, the cost is $25. You can send the picture, message and money to the library, these are also due by November 1st. If you have any questions please email the yearbook or contact Ms. Street at kstreet@isd108.org.

The kindness garden at Central Elementary continues to grow. After learning last week about the character traits such as compassion, integrity and sharing, students made a pledge to show kindness and make everyone feel welcome and included. Each student painted a rock with a message or art work to show how they will show kindness.

Central Kindergarten Team would like to send out a HUGE THANK YOU to Edmentum for helping Kindergarten staff get ready for the school year. Six volunteers came last week to clean and set up the classrooms in time for the open house (Open house appointments can be scheduled for Wendesday Sept. 1 or Tuesday Sept. 7). Edmentum's hard work was appreciated!

Thank you to the Cologne Fire Department for the generous donation to the Raider Room for snacks for our students. Last year over 3000 snacks went to students in need; which could not have been provided without your support. The Raider Room was established three years ago to provide snacks, clothing and school supplies to any student in need.
