Congratulations to senior Cloe Bladow! Cloe’s plans after high school include attending a technical school to become an electrician. Her favorite memories are attending football games with friends and her favorite teacher has been Ms. Schurmann. Cloe’s advice for younger students is to, “Work hard your first three years of high school in order to make senior year as easy as possible.”

Chloe Knopik is today’s senior spotlight! Upon graduation, Chloe will be attending Gustavus Adolphus College and majoring in Music Education. Her favorite teacher is Mr. Rome. As being involved in many school musicals, she recalls a favorite memory of Mr. Stumbo eating chili five minutes before The Music Man performance. She encourages students to, “Talk to that person you’ve always been too scared to reach out to!”

On Friday, the kindergarten classes participated in camping themed activities to go along with the end of our read-a-thon. Students started their morning with a special guest, Mr. Larson, who sang songs around a campfire. Then they went fishing for CVC fish and built tents using marshmallows and toothpicks. They had to count how many marshmallows and toothpicks they used for their design and later made a fort to read in. They had a blast!
The senior directed starts Today (Monday March 3) and we have 16 members participating in this year’s senior directed! Don’t miss it!
Today’s senior spotlight is on Kira Weverka! In the fall, Kira will be attending SDSU and will be studying Music Education. Her favorite memory during high school was Homecoming week and her favorite teacher has been Mr. Stumbo. Her advice for younger high school students, “Prioritize yourself!”
Good luck to the Girls Basketball team as they take on the GSL Panthers tonight in the 2nd round of the Section 2AA playoffs. The game will be at Glencoe-Silver Lake High School starting at 7:00 PM. Tickets for tonight's game are cash only at the door. We hope to see you there!
We’re proud of senior Carter LaTour! He will be heading to basic training for the U.S. Army after high school graduation. During his time at Central Public Schools, his favorite memory was the Florida band trip and his favorite teacher was Mrs. Hammers. He encourages younger students to consider joining the military upon graduation as well!

Today, we’re celebrating senior Carmen Andrade! Carmen will be majoring in Sonography at St. Cloud Technical & Community College. During high school, her favorite high school memory was going to the Homecoming games and her favorite teacher was Mrs. Ide. Thanks to the Central Booster Club for donating funds to teachers for classroom purchases! Mrs. Kroells’s students purchased a variety of high-interest novels and were so excited to get them.

Lucas Conser is a senior in the Class of 2025! His favorite memory is making it to state for football. He plans to head into the workforce after graduation. His advice for younger students is, “Do your work.”
The Booster Club gifted some money to the teachers/classrooms that provided a donation to the Raider Rally last Fall. Mrs. Curson’s students brainstormed, price-shopped and voted for what they wanted. They chose a bluetooth mouse to be paired with their chromebooks, markers, pencils, LED lights and Lane Walker books about hunting and fishing.
