fastbridge

Most students have now completed the fall FastBridge Reading and Math screener assessment. The purpose of this leveled assessment is to monitor student progress towards proficiency and it is given to students three times per year. The results of these assessments are published in Infinite Campus and they can be found in the Parent Portal. If you need access to the Parent Portal or have forgotten your password, please contact Linnae Pauman at the high school (lpaumen@isd108.org) or Amanda Nelson (anelson@isd108.org) at the Middle School.

Once you are logged into the Infinite Campus Parent Portal, click on “More,” then “Assessments” to see your student’s MCA and FastBridge scores.

A little more info on the FastBridge results:
FastBridge scores are categorized into: high risk, some risk, low risk, and advanced. These scores are a starting point for conversations about student performance and are used in conjunction with classwork and teacher observations to make instructional decisions.

“High risk” refers to students who score below the 15th percentile on FastBridge and could benefit from more intensive support.

“Some risk” refers to students with scores between the 15th and 40th percentiles. Students could benefit from extra support.

“Low risk” refers to students whose screening score is at or above the 40th percentile on FastBridge assessments and are very likely to meet later learning goals and demonstrate subject area proficiency.

“Advanced” refers to students who score above the 70th percentile on FastBridge assessments.
